OSQS has litigation specialists ready to review documents in line with the client’s objectives and the need for quality and cost efficiency. Our specialists have the ability to compile responsive documents, create document summaries and logs, perform 1st level and 2nd level reviews, and conduct reviews for relevance, privilege and confidentiality, redaction and substantive analysis.

The process begins with a US licensed attorney working closely with the client to gain a thorough understanding of the project requirements, objectives and goals. After consultation with the client, OSQS allocates the appropriate number of attorneys and proper technological resources to meet the demands of the project.  Next, each document review team undergoes project specific training based on the client’s instructions.  Upon completion of the training, the team reviews and flags a sample set of documents and sends it to the client for approval. If need be, reviewing procedures are adjusted or corrected to meet the project requirements and ensure accuracy. Upon approval by the client, each reviewing attorney is assigned a set of documents for review. The review is then carried out to identify relevant documents and flag them in accordance with the client’s instructions. As the project progresses, the US and off-shore managing attorneys perform continuous quality control and assurance reviews by randomly sampling documents and using multiple statistical tools to correct any discrepancies. At every stage, managing attorneys work closely with the client, providing regular reports of review production rates and adopting any changes requested by the client. OSQS quality control processes and procedures employ Six Sigma and Kaizen protocols. The entire multi-tiered review process is designed to meet the client’s demands and achieve the highest accuracy rates in the flagging of documents.  Client satisfaction is critical, and adjustments are made as needed to meet this objective.
